I started this band out of the necessity of dealing with my feelings. Since that distant 2019 so many things happened and not for the best. That's why I keep making these albums. I know I'll never get any money out of it, but it's my own kind of therapy and hopefully, my songs have also helped you somehow.
I will try to keep the band alive for as long as I live (and I have enough money) but life has this way of fucking everything up so... Who knows? In any case, thank you for reading this and I hope life's been good to you. Spread love, not hate.
Sonic Maze is a brazilian alternative rock band formed in 2019. The project started when Fabio Bertoldi, started home recording songs he had written. Excited with the whole process of recording and writing, he showed some songs to his closest friends who encouraged him to keep going. Four months later he had an album with 7 songs recorded, mixed and mastered all by himself.
Influenced by Tool, Mastodon, The Smashing Pumpkins, A Perfect Circle, Metallica and Megadeth, amongst others, Sonic Maze sounds unique and questions the way society is organized and how we relate to one another.
